About The Company:
KE Select has exclusively partnered with Specialty Probiotics Australia to support the scale up of their team. They are a newly formed company with the benefit of acquiring the assets of a previous probiotics manufacturing facility and new majority ownership from a highly successful leader in this niche area.
Based in Ormeau, the Queensland facility will be sourcing new and innovative strains of microbiomes to produce world-class probiotic ingredients and products.
About the Role:
As the Senior Production Operator; you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily manufacturing operations within our facility. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines, safety protocols, and company policies. You will lead and mentor a skilled team of production staff, optimize workflows, and maintain meticulous documentation to support regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: - Supervise day-to-day production activities, ensuring strict adherence to GMP and regulatory standards.
- Monitor compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to uphold quality.
- Train, mentor, and develop production staff in GMP requirements and industry best practices.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of batch records, documentation, and reports to support auditing processes.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance (QA) to guarantee product quality and regulatory compliance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.
- Conduct routine inspections, audits, and safety checks on production equipment and facilities.
About You: - Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience in a GMP-regulated environment (pharmaceuticals, food production, biotech, or medical devices).
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role within production settings.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of GMP guidelines and the intricacies of regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and sound decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in documentation, record-keeping, and compliance reporting.
