About the Role We are seeking a proactive and experienced Regional Manager to lead our pathology operations across the North Coast region, including Port Macquarie and Manning Great Lakes. This leadership role is based at our Port Macquarie laboratory and reports directly to the Chief Branch Operations Officer.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of laboratories, collection centres, and courier services within the region
- Drive strategic initiatives to optimise performance, service quality, and efficiency
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with referring doctors and clinical stakeholders
- Promote a unified and positive workplace culture through consistent staff engagement and site visits
- Provide regular reports and insights to executive leadership, contributing to state-wide planning
About You - Tertiary qualifications in Medical Science or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of leadership experience within pathology or healthcare services
- Sound knowledge of laboratory operations, compliance, and accreditation frameworks
- Strong interpersonal, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes
- Willingness to travel across NSW, including routine visits to Sydney
