A leading health product manufacturer based on the Gold Coast region is currently seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. The position offers a unique blend of administrative and production responsibilities, and offers a unique opportunity to work across an extensive range of product types and packaging formats in a GMP-compliant, multicultural production environment.

About the Role
The role is a hands-on, floor-based production leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced setting. The successful candidate will rotate between two primary supervisory responsibilities:
  1. Administration & Production Planning:
  • Overseeing scheduling and daily production targets
  • Ordering and preparing materials in advance of production runs
  • Monitoring personnel allocations and equipment utilisation
  • Collaborating with the production manager to support big-picture objectives
  1. Production Floor Supervision:
  • Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing processes
  • Supervising the weighing, dispensing, and movement of raw materials
  • Ensuring machinery is running efficiently and addressing minor troubleshooting issues
  • Maintaining compliance with GMP and TGA regulations
  • Supporting operators with technical guidance and quality checks
These dual responsibilities allow supervisors to gain broad exposure across the full production function, making this an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to advance in leadership within regulated manufacturing. Supervisors will work on a set shift (AM or PM) but rotate responsibilities daily to ensure collaboration, consistency, and shared ownership across administrative and hands-on production areas.

Skills and Experience
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or GMP-regulated manufacturing
  • Hands-on supervisory or team leadership experience
  • A current and valid Forklift Licence (favourable)
  • Familiarity with production machinery and the ability to assist with basic troubleshooting
  • A solid understanding of quality systems and batch documentation
  • Strong organisational skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail
  • A proactive, flexible approach to leadership with an ability to mentor culturally diverse teams
