We are currently seeking an experienced
Medical Receptionist / Medical Secretary to join a leading specialist fertility clinic in Melbourne on a temporary basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a patient-focused environment and can confidently step into a busy specialist practice with minimal training.
The Opportunity
As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring a professional, welcoming and seamless experience while supporting specialists and the wider administration team.
Key Responsibilities - Greeting and assisting patients at reception
- Managing appointment bookings, rescheduling and patient enquiries
- Processing patient payments and billing
- Updating and maintaining patient records
- Scanning and uploading clinical documentation
- Managing incoming calls and emails
- Coordinating daily clinic administration activities
- Supporting practitioners with patient communications and scheduling
Essential Requirements - Previous experience working in a medical reception or medical administration role
- Hands-on experience using Clinic to Cloud (essential)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy clinical environment
- Professional, empathetic and patient-focused approach
