About the Role In this role, you'll engage with state-of-the-art technology while playing a key part in transformative research that seeks to enhance human health.
As part of the team, you will focus on immune response analysis, leveraging your skills in flow cytometry techniques.
Responsibilities: - Conduct cell assays using various flow cytometry instruments, following established procedures.
- Maintain and cultivate cell cultures as part of ongoing research efforts.
- Oversee the ordering and inventory management of lab reagents and supplies.
- Assist in the development and review of standard operating procedures
- Help ensure smooth laboratory operations by supporting technical management.
- Follow stringent quality standards, including ISO17025, GCLP, and GMP, while helping to improve laboratory processes.
About You - A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Life Sciences/Biotechnology (biology, medical biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, etc.).
- At least 6 months to one year hands on experience with flow cytometry techniques.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and workloads.
Work Schedule: - Flexibility to work Monday-Friday with every second Sat, Tuesday-Saturday, with potential Sunday rotations.
- Standard working hours : 11am - 7pm (no negotiations around the hours)
- Allowance offered for weekend work
- Street parking and public transport available
