About The Role
As Field Service Engineer, you will ensure that the highest standard of service and support be provided to a portfolio of research and manufacturing customers throughout the QLD territory, with some travel interstate. You will provide Technical service support on a full range of highly complex equipment.
Responsibilities: - Consistently provide the highest level of customer service and support at various customer sites, so driving accounts for a high portion of your work-day.
- Proven technical ability to troubleshoot and repair complex instrumentation. Perform preventative services to improve instrument reliability.
- Work as part of a diverse team and be willing to contribute on a continual basis.
- Operate in a highly regulated environment, accurate and timely administration work is critical.
- When rostered onto Customer Support Centre provide phone support and detailed troubleshooting.
- Work closely with Regional Service Managers to ensure effective first-time fix rates
- Ensure all service calls are handled on time and to the satisfaction of the customer
- Work to ensure the most cost-effective way to carry out repairs in the field so as to contain costs
About You:
- Must have Field Service Engineer experience within a scientific industry
- Minimum of Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering or Scientific related experience.
- Impressive technical competence
- Must be physically able to perform tasks required in installing, repairing and servicing instrumentation.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with both written and verbal communication.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s licence.
- Must be willing to travel interstate and/or overseas if required
