About the Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing proprietary laboratory systems across customer sites. Acting as the main point of contact for service-related inquiries, you’ll deliver training and technical support both remotely and in person.
You’ll work closely with customers, sales teams, and internal departments to ensure a seamless service experience. Your role will also include handling documentation for compliance, supporting service contract sales, managing parts inventory, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
About You You are a technically skilled and customer-focused professional with a strong background in servicing complex laboratory equipment. You have a passion for solving problems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You enjoy being in the field, engaging with clients, and delivering hands-on support in diverse environments.
Key Responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and software
- Provide technical support via phone, email, remote tools, and on-site visits
- Train users and guide customers in system operations and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with applications and sales teams to strengthen customer relationships
- Manage service logs, inventory, expenses, and documentation for quality standards
- Support complaint handling, product updates, and participate in technical events
