About the Company
Our client develops and supplies laboratory and process equipment used in life science research, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical production. They are expanding their ANZ service team and are seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Melbourne, VIC to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory water purification systems.
About the Role
Working closely with two other Field Service Engineers and reporting directly to the Service Manager, this role is responsible for equipment installation, client engagement, preventative maintenance, and providing high-quality technical support to customers across Victoria.
Key Responsibilities - Install, service and maintain Life Science instruments
- Build specific product knowledge and competencies on a specialist portfolio of equipment.
- Identify, analyse and repair product failures.
- Order and replace parts, as needed.
- Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customer’s needs
- Support customers across academia, environmental, pharmaceutical and clinical market segments
- Support other states / territories where required.
About you - Must have Field Service Engineer - Water Purification and Electronics background
- Should have experience and sound understanding of tools and equipment such as multimeters, conductivity meters and drills (fit for purpose of the FSE role)
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with both written and verbal communication.
- Must possess a valid Driver’s licence.
- Should have Induction (White) Card
- Must be willing to travel interstate and/or overseas if required
