About the Role We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Specialist to join the commercial team in Brisbane, managing a large and diverse territory across Queensland, New Zealand, and the Northern Territory.
This role is responsible for selling a portfolio of high-purity water systems for laboratories along with associated consumables. It combines technical knowledge with relationship-driven sales, offering the chance to engage directly with scientific customers and provide consultative, solution-based support.
Key Responsibilities: - Drive sales of both capital equipment (hardware) and recurring consumables, with a strong focus on laboratory water purification systems
- Manage and grow an established territory across QLD, NZ, and NT
- Build and maintain strong relationships with laboratories, research institutions, and industry customers
- Identify and develop new business opportunities while nurturing existing accounts
- Provide consultative, application-focused sales support to customers
- Work closely with internal service and technical teams to deliver seamless solutions
- Plan territory activity, forecasting, and regular travel within the region
About You - Tertiary qualifications in Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related life science discipline
- Experience in field sales, technical sales, or laboratory-based roles with strong customer interaction
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and water quality requirements (highly regarded)
- Confident communicator able to engage with scientific and technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing a large territory
