The Company Our client is a private clinical research organisation with a national presence within the Australian market for over 20 years. They have experience with successfully delivering clinical trials in multiple therapeutic areas. This organisation is experiencing significant growth in Sydney.
The Role
Our client is looking for an Investigator to join their team in Sydney. You will work closely with the Operations Team to provide every participant with safe and effective person-centred care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the safety of participants by assessing and reviewing their health and monitoring their response to therapy
- Managing emergencies as they arise
- Ensure participants are compliant with protocols
- Review clinical data, implement protocol changes within the CGP guidelines
- Understand and apply the legal, ethical and operational requirements of the trial
About You
- Background in Medicine, ideally as a GP
- Unrestricted AHPRA Registration - General or Specialist
- Previous experience as a Clinical Trial Investigator would be an advantage
- Current Medical Indemnity Insurance
- Be detail-oriented and be able to apply clinical reasoning
- Have compassion and empathy
- Effective communication skills
- You MUST be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
