Purchasing Administration Assistant | Biomanufacturing
About the CompanyOur client, a world leader in supporting science, has a state-of-the-art facility based in Brisbane, specializing in clinical and commercial manufacturing, and single-use biologics technology.
About the Role As the Purchasing Administration Assistant, you will report to the Team Leader and Warehouse Manager. You will work closely with the warehouse team and build relationships with the internal stakeholders to provide procurement support, accounts payable support, and operational support.
This is a casual position, located at a site in Banyo. The standard operating hours of the site are Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm. You could be working up to 38 hours per week but this can change with the needs of the business.
Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Creating purchase orders
- Communicating with suppliers
- Managing the supplier registration process
- Maintain and manage price lists in SAP
- Provide relevant support for the finance team
About You - Previous exposure to purchasing and liaising with suppliers
- Experience with SAP or ERP systems
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Be able to work as part of a team and want to learn more
- Be able to start immediately
