About the Role

As Strategic Key Account Manager – Pharma & Applied Markets in Australia, you will own and grow a portfolio of high-value accounts, driving regional growth through strategic, value-focused solutions. You will act as the executive interface for key clients, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions that deepen long-term relationships, maximise share of wallet, and strengthen strategic partnerships.

This high-visibility role suits a commercially astute professional with strong technical knowledge and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in complex, high-value markets.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect multi-year account strategies that align customer goals with enterprise-level objectives.
  • Cultivate strategic relationships with senior customer stakeholders across commercial and technical functions.
  • Build internal coalitions across product, commercial, and operational teams to deliver unified customer experiences.
  • Unlock full portfolio potential through cross-divisional collaboration, bundled offerings, and tailored commercial models.
  • Translate complex customer insights into actionable growth opportunities and commercial roadmaps.
  • Lead quarterly account reviews, performance analysis, and executive briefings to ensure transparency, alignment, and ongoing value delivery.
About You

You are a Strategic Key Account Manager with the expertise to engage senior stakeholders and the capability to deliver measurable business outcomes. You excel at aligning customer objectives with organisational strengths and driving results through influence in complex, matrixed environments, fostering long-term, high-value partnerships.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant science or technical related discipline 
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a key account manager role ideally within Pharma, Applied Markets, or Life Sciences
  • Proven success managing large, complex accounts with diverse stakeholder groups
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to create and communicate value propositions that resonate across business levels
  • Expertise in navigating global, decentralised organisations and leading through ambiguity
  • Superior relationship-building, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • A high degree of personal integrity, accountability, and professional resilience
  • Digital fluency across CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite

Interstate Travel - 30% - 40%
