The Company
You will work for an ASX-listed global manufacturer that has operated for the last 20 years, with offices across Australia, the USA, Canada, the UK and Europe. With a global HQ and manufacturing site in Sydney, they are developing and manufacturing an Australian-made product used across the globe.
The Role In your role as Senior Product Development Chemist you will be part of research and development stage for the chemical consumables. You will be responsible for the delivery of effective formulations, the development of new products as well as improvements to existing products.
Key duties & responsibilities include:
- Perform research & development by designing experiments for new formulations
- Investigate and formulate improvement of commercialised products, solutions to chemistry related problems and assist with their implementation
- Develop specifications for new and existing chemical products
- Performance testing method development, validation and stability testing program
About you - PhD or Master's degree in chemistry related sciences
- Hands on experience in a chemistry lab
- Hands on experience with research and development is essential
- Ability to problem solve
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills
- Medical Device industry experience would be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience with QMS
- Full working rights for Australia is essential, this position does not offer sponsorship
