Purchasing Administration Assistant - Brisbane North

About the Company

Our client, a world leader in supporting science, has a state-of-the-art facility based in Brisbane, specialising in clinical and commercial manufacturing pf products.  

About the Role 
As the Purchasing Administration Assistant, you will report to the Team Leader and collaborate closely with the purchasing team to support the organisation. You will work alongside the warehouse team and establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide procurement and operational support. 

This is a casual position at the distribution center in North Brisbane. You may occasionally be required to work on weekends, but there may be some flexibility with starting times. 7:30am/8am/8:30am. 

Monday to Friday is required. 

Duties & Responsibilities include:
  • Creating purchase orders
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Managing the supplier registration process
  • Maintain and manage price lists in SAP
  • Provide relevant support for the finance team 
About You 
  • Previous exposure to purchasing and liaising with suppliers 
  • Experience with SAP or ERP systems
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Be able to work as part of a team and want to learn more
  • Be able to start immediately
