Phlebotomist | Pathology Collector Our client is a highly respected pathology organisation with a strong national presence, operating a central laboratory in Darlinghurst and more than 25 collection centres across metropolitan Sydney and regional NSW. We are currently seeking skilled and compassionate
Phlebotomists/Pathology Collectors to join the team on a casual basis. If you thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment and take pride in providing outstanding patient experiences, we'd love to hear from you.
Duties and Responsibilities - Perform venepuncture and collect blood and other pathology specimens with accuracy and care
- Conduct ECGs and fit Holter monitors where required
- Process pathology samples in accordance with established protocols
- Complete clerical and administrative tasks using basic computer systems
- Build positive relationships with patients, medical professionals, and colleagues
- Deliver exceptional patient care with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Work confidently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Effectively prioritise workloads and manage competing demands
- Maintain compliance with all Work Health and Safety requirements
About You - Full Australian working rights (visa sponsorship is not available)
- Current Driver's Licence
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current National Police Clearance
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection
- Minimum 12 months of unsupervised venepuncture experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work Monday to Saturday across various shifts
- Passionate about pathology and committed to delivering exceptional patient care
