Phlebotomist | Pathology Collector - Hospital Visits | Casual Position | Monday to Sunday |
Key Responsibilities: - Must be able to drive to 2 hospitals and conduct pathology collection on the wards
- Venepuncture experience essential at least 6 months unsupervised not including placement hours
- Current and valid Driver's Licence as a car is supplied by the hospital for the daily run.
- Collection of blood and other samples from patients
- Processing of Pathology Specimens
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Clerical duties and basic IT skills
- High level communication skills with colleagues and patients
- Ability to provide dedication to patient care
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
- Comply with Work Health and Safety
You must be: - Eligible to work within Australia - Sponsorship is not available
- Possess a current NSW driver's licence, WWC Check & Police Clearance
- Obtained a Cert 3 in Pathology Collection
- Be a clear and patient communicator
- Experience in blood collection
- Have a positive attitude
- Have a passion for Pathology Collection
- Have a flexible approach to work
