The Company Our client is a reputable Pathology service provider, with a national presence within the Australian market. With a central laboratory in Darlinghurst and 25 clinics across metro Sydney and regional NSW. Our client is looking for a medical receptionist to join their specimen reception team.
The Role
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for Central Specimen Reception and the Laboratory. You will be responsible for greeting visitors, ensuring they sign in and out, answering the phone and handling inquires. You will work closely with the rest of the CSR team and assist with any ad-hoc duties required.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Reception and general administration duties
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email
- Processing logistic bookings
- Results management
- Liaising with pathologists and clinicians
- Data Inputting
About You - Previous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
- Eligible to work within Australia - Sponsorship is not available
- Unable to consider student visas or working holiday visas
- Current Police Check
- A clear and patient communicator
- Have a positive attitude
- Have a passion for the Pathology industry
- Must be available FULL TIME for a minimum of 3 months
