About The Company Our client is a world leader in supporting science and has a state-of-the-art facility in Brisbane that specializes in clinical and commercial manufacturing and single-use biologics technology. The Brisbane site boasts expertise in GMP for clinical and commercial manufacturing and is in a period of growth and expansion.
About the Role This is an exciting position in a busy GMP laboratory, requiring someone to work in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment. A casual, working Monday to Friday, with the flexibility required to work overtime and occasional weekends as required. You will be joining a friendly and supportive team. You’ll work closely with both the Quality and Manufacturing teams.
Key Responsibilities - Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products in compliance with GMP standards
- Execute tasks in strict compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Document and report analytical results accurately and promptly
- Conduct environmental monitoring to ensure compliance with hygiene standards
- Maintain laboratory cleanliness and organisation through routine housekeeping
- Apply strong aseptic techniques with proven hands-on experience in microbiological methods
About You To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- A Bachelor of Science in Microbiology or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience in a manufacturing laboratory (highly regarded)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full working rights in Australia
