About the Role
This role will involve close collaboration with engineers across Australia while reporting directly to the Manager in Melbourne. The successful candidate will play a key role in servicing a diverse portfolio of clients, including medical clinics, hospitals, and specialized aesthetic beauty clinics.
Key Responsibilities: - Perform onsite installations, maintenance, and repairs of medical device equipment.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to address technical issues.
- Collaborate with Territory Managers (Sales) to ensure service deliverables are met.
- Coordinate problem-resolution efforts with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide training to teams and customers on the safe operation of equipment.
- Maintain a valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
- Prioritize service requests and ensure concise, accurate documentation.
About you:
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience working in a technical role in bioprocessing. To be successful in this role, you will be expected to have the following:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve electronic, mechanical, or related technical problems.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related Biomedical field are preferred.
- Hands-on experience as a Service Engineer/Technician working with relevant equipment is advantageous.
