The Role
This position will provide clinical support and education to their specialist multi-disciplinary melanoma clinic. In the role you will also support the Clinical Nurse Consultant and Nurse Coordiantor to help deliver the services provided by the clinic.
Responsibilites and duties include but are not limited to:
- Acting as a point of contact for patients and their support, primary care clinicians and specialists
- Assiting the Clinical Nurse Lead in delivering an effective and efficient service
- Triaging incoming patient referrals
- Supporting patients during clinics and advocating for their care during multi-discilinary team meetings
- Collecting patient history and data for patient records
**This position is a temporary short-term casual assignment**
We require someone available Mon-Fri for at least 4 weeks.
About You - Tertiary Qualification in Nursing e.g. Bachelors of Nursing or equivalent
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Experience to be able to practice at an advanced level
- Ability to work independently and use your initiative
- Knowledge of Clinical Governance, Safety and Qualitity Policy Framework and Healt Services Act 2016 (WA)
- A current Working Childrens Check and National Police Check
- Working rights for Australia is a requirement
