About the Company
Our client is one of Australia’s leading Pathology and Medical diagnostic service providers. They are seeking to appoint a qualified Consulting Chemical Pathologist to support the Biochemistry Service in Melbourne.
This will include regional and metro sites and satellite laboratories.
About youTo be successful, you will hold specialist Chemical Pathology qualifications or equivalent (FRCPA) and be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
Candidates are expected to have clinical oversight of the Biochemistry and Point-of-Care Testing sections of the laboratory, help the laboratory to ensure compliance with local regulations and internationally recognised accreditation standards, and participate in quality assurance programs and institutional or departmental committees.
- Understanding of NATA accreditation
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of laboratory operations
- Commitment to quality improvement
