Account Manager - QLD - Laboratory Products and Scientific Supplies

They partner with universities, pathology networks, biotech and industrial testing facilities, providing trusted products, instruments, and hands-on technical support. About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Account Manager who enjoys combining strong commercial acumen with a solutions-focused, scientific mindset. You will take full ownership of a defined territory, managing a mix of established key accounts and new business opportunities across the research, clinical and industrial sectors. This is a consultative sales role, engaging with scientists, lab managers, and procurement teams to understand their workflows and recommend practical solutions.


Core Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a defined territory of research, clinical, and industrial clients.
  • Build long-term relationships through consultative, technical sales.
  • Identify new business opportunities and develop territory growth plans.
  • Work closely with internal teams including product specialists, logistics, and technical support to ensure seamless service.
  • Deliver product demos, presentations and training sessions (in person and online).
  • Keep CRM records up to date and report on pipeline and sales performance.
Skills and Experience Required
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience - ideally within scientific or laboratory supplies, consumables, or instrumentation.
  • Confident engaging with technical end-users from bench scientists to procurement teams.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder; self-motivated and organised.
  • Full driver’s licence and ability to travel within the territory. 
  • A tertiary qualification in Science or a related field.
  • Existing relationships within universities, pathology or industrial labs.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
